Puppet Pop Up at the Nicholls Family Library

Pig Puppets celebrate Phoebe Gilman's Jillian Jiggs characters.

We’re pleased to be part of the Calgary Library’s Ultimate Summer Challenge and Popping Up with a fun workshop. Check out the Library website to register for the free workshop at Nicholls Family Library - Program Room.

No one can keep up with Jillian Jiggs. How can she take time to clean up her room when there are so many wonderful things to make and do? Her mother says her room looks like it's been "lived in by Pigs"!
Participants make a paper pig puppet using simple geometric shapes and then have fun animating a micro story about their own rooms. Good for ages 5 - 9 or so.
