Join Our Board of Directors
Our board is a grass roots, friendly and fun group of people. WPTS recently
completed a strategic planning intensive. We look forward to putting our ideas into place. We have
several exciting initiatives underway including the production of our first big puppet show for
several years and a growing and popular crate-based outreach program designed for schools in Alberta.
The board serves mainly an advisory role with fun opportunities for hands-on work. You can decide what
area you would like to focus on—programming, marketing or governance. You choose what is the most
beneficial experience for yourself.
We meet about every two months. We don't require police information checks
unless you end up working directly with the public.

As a registered charity, WP Puppet Theatre relies on government and arts grants to enhance children's learning experiences through the power of puppetry. Currently, we are in need of increased funding in order to expand our programming and are looking for donations from individuals and corporations who have a passion for the arts and giving back to our youth.
