Wendy Passmore-Godfrey has shared her excitement in puppetry with thousands of children and adults for over 25 years. She teaches in artist’s residencies, one-off student workshops, at Teachers Conventions, and other leadership Professional Development sessions as well as in the University of Calgary Drama Department.

Workshops typically include hands on opportunities for performance and manipulation, demonstration and presentation components. They range in subject from core curriculum linked themes to exploring the multicultural roots of puppetry or theatre/visual art based studios.

She is also available for speaking engagements. Hear and see behind the scenes from her puppet tours from Inuvik to Mexico City or Bulgaria to Beiseker. Explore the power of puppetry and its application to leadership, therapy, social action, literacy and more.

Wendy’s own training includes study with Petr Metasek of DRAK Puppet Theatre, Czechoslovakia at the University of Washington, attending the International Institute of Puppet Arts in Charlesville-Mezieirs, France and attending numerous Puppeteers of America and UNIMA Festivals. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Calgary
