Booking Information

Step 1)

Please send an email to wppuppet@telus.net with “Crate Booking” in the heading, which answers the following questions:

• Full Name
• School Name
• School Address
• School Phone Number & Extension
• Home Phone Number
• First and Second Choice of Dates from list below.

Crate Choice (see descriptions below)

• Introducing Shadow Puppets for grades k- 2
• Rod Puppets for grades 3-4

Step 2)

Once the email has been received we will send a reply to confirm if your chosen dates are available. Upon finalizing the dates we will forward you an invoice and booking contract.

Crate rental fee schedule:

• Schools within the Calgary city limits:
  $120.00 plus GST includes door to door shipping with Dynamex courier.
• Schools in Airdrie, Cochrane, Chestermere and Okotoks:
  $135.00 plus GST includes door to door shipping with Dynamex courier.
• Schools out of Calgary city limits and NOT in the above towns: Greyhound bus shipping rate including door to door courier if available. Please call for quotation. Crate rental will be for the full period even if the bus takes several days for shipping, however rental period dates may be shifted.

Step 3)

Return the signed contract and the required payment by regular post (if the delivery date is less than a week from the booking date, we will contact you regarding making your payment prior to the delivery). Once we have received the signed contract and payment the booking process is complete.

Please note - at this time we are only accepting cheques for method of payment, made payable to “W.P. Puppet Theatre Society”.

Step 4)

On the first day of your rental, a Puppets on the Go crate will arrive at your school for your booking, usually arriving in the late morning. The cost of delivery and return pick up of the crate is included in the cost of the rental.

Step 5)

You will receive an email reminder the day before the last rental day to pack up the crate and take to the school office for pick up after 1:00 pm. Please ensure all of the non-consumable contents have been returned to the crate prior to pick up.

Step 6)

On the final day of your rental, our delivery service will automatically come to pick up the crate at the school’s main office. Please note that if the crate is not ready for pick up – the school may be charged for wait time and/or a $15 fee if pick up needs to be rescheduled. If the Greyhound bus is used you may need to deliver crate to the bus depot.

Step 7)

Don’t forget to complete the evaluation form (see below)! Return paper copy or email it to wppuppet@telus.net. This provides us with valuable information on how to enhance our crates for future classes.
